We are a small group of translators based in Mexico City specialising in English language teaching and the translation of legal, academic, commercial and literary texts. Our translators are native speakers of both English and Spanish. Since 1996, we have built a solid reputation based on our attention to quality and reliability.
He holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Leeds and an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Birmingham in the UK.
After working as a consultant in the teaching of English for the British Council in Mexico and managing the latter organization’s Special Services Unit, Fred Rogers was the director of the “Central” Branch and the Special Services Division of the Anglo-Mexican Cultural Institute. Following this, he coordinated the Diploma in Translation and the courses in Legal English of the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
With broad experience in developing and implementing specialized English-language and teacher-training programs, Fred currently teaches the courses in Legal English and Professional Writing that are offered by Linguafranca, an organization that he founded over twenty years ago.
